Second Chance
Veterinary Rescue

Second Chance Veterinary Medical Rescue program was established as a means to provide medical treatment leading to adoption for animals that might otherwise face euthanasia. It operates solely on donations of both time and funds. The doctors of Aggieland Animal Health Center have committed to providing services free of charge while providing necessary supplies and medications at clinic cost. Even with this substantial commitment, resources are limited and your help is needed. Each one of our rescues has his or her unique characteristics and special personalities that could be a perfect match for you. Featured below are our current rescues in need of a home. To find out more about this remarkable program, make a donation, or if you are interested in adopting a current rescue please go to Petfinder or use our contact information below. If you are interested in adopting a current rescue, we invite you to complete our Second Chance Adoption Application. Please fax or email the application to (979) 680-7385 or SCVR@aggielandahc.com.

My name is Hunter, I was bottle raise and love everyone. Since I was bottle raised I am very trusting and have never met a stranger (human or animal).

Tiger Lilly is a sweet but sassy cat that loves to speak her mind. She is looking for that special someone that will understand her love language.

Hello!  I am a bouncing fluffy little boy that just wants someone to love.  I have a great personality and am waiting for that special someone to take me home.

Daisy Duke was found on the side of the road almost in labor in this hot Texas weather. We picked her up and gave her a nice warm bed in the air condition and a few days later came 12 beautiful Catahoula mix puppies (each one has their own unique look)! At this time we are looking for homes for mom and the puppies, but mom will not be ready to go for approximately 3-4 months and the puppies still have 2-3 months to go before entering their forever home.
