Second Chance Veterinary Medical Rescue
|
Second Chance Veterinary Medical Rescue program was established as a means to provide medical treatment leading to adoption for animals that might otherwise face euthanasia. It operates solely on donations of both time and funds. The doctors of Aggieland Animal Health Center have committed to providing services free of charge while providing necessary supplies and medications at clinic cost. Even with this substantial commitment, resources are limited and your help is needed. Each one of our rescues has his or her unique characteristics and special personalities that could be a perfect match for you. Featured below are our current rescues in need of a home. To find out more about this remarkable program, make a donation, or if you are interested in adopting a current rescue please go to Petfinder or use our contact information below. If you are interested in adopting a current rescue, we invite you to complete our Second Chance Adoption Application. Please fax or email the application to (979) 680-7385 or SCVR@aggielandahc.com. |
Update: Emma, our 3-legged former rescue, is enjoying her forever home with her new, fellow three-legged sister, Roo. |

Doris Day
Doris Day came to us as a stray that had been befriended by a young couple who saved her life, taking her in and providing warmth, food, and shelter. Unfortunately, they quickly became overwhelmed once they realized she is in the advanced stages of several diseases. She is not only golden in color, she is "golden" in years. If the right person comes along to provide the love and lap she craves, we will surely help him or her welcome this gem of a kitty. With the excellent care she receives from the doctors and staff at our clinic, we hope to let her live out her remaining time shedding hair and love in Dr. Hannes' office, her main abode.
